Getting Ready for MDO and Birthday

We went to our first meeting at Holly's School (SVDP Learning Center). Holly stayed in her classroom with her teacher Ms.Carla (she'll also have a teacher Ms. Beverly), while we went to a parents meeting. Holly totally loved being in her class! She had fun and cried when we made her leave!!

Between now and next Tuesday (when class starts) we have a lot to do to get ready! Holly's birthday present from us is her backpack and lunch box (plus a rolling backpack) that has her name on it. It's so hard to believe she'll be in school 10 hours a week. I am looking forward to having some of my time back. There are so many things to do, I don't even know where to start!

We've also been getting ready for her birthday party. My friend Sherri made a dress and hat for her (you can see them here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Arlington-TX/Chloes-Wings-by-Sherri-Kring/126631011794?ref=mf#/album.php?aid=106051&id=126631011794&ref=mf - hers is the pasiley with green). The theme this year is Tinkerbell.

Holly's Summer Fun

Holly has been having a ton of fun all summer long! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated this blog in so long! Can you believe Holly will be two soon? She's saying some really cute things now days. She has two and three word phrases and often tries to repeat my sentences. She still has some cute baby words.... for example, when she hugs me she says "Gug, Gug!!" and when she wants to snuggle she says "Nuggul!".... oh it melts my heart! The above pictures were taken at Pojo's house. The little boy is Holly's cousin Matthias.... he's 3.
